This collection comes to the US from rural villages located in central Afghanistan. These rugs are woven in the traditional way, using hand-spun wool and all natural dyes to insure the they maintain the bold look that this area is known for. The designs in this collection come in many classic patterns, such as Heriz, Feraghan Sarouk, Bijar, Oushak, Sultanabad, Tabriz, Serap, and others. This collection comes in a standard weave of approximately 95 to 100 knots per square inch. Most of the these designs can be ordered in any size from 3x5 to 12x16, including most runner sizes.
